Appetizers are a favorite for birthday parties, baby showers, and family BBQ’s.
You can use fresh French bread, focaccia bread, or baguettes to create chef worthy appetizers right at home.

Prosciutto and Cheese
Prosciutto and cheese baguette topping is made by topping your baguette slices with your favorite piece of gouda or Havarti cheese.
A few sprigs of arugula are added on top of the baguette along with a folded piece of prosciutto.
The baguette is garnished with a bit of balsamic reduction.
Olive Oil and Balsamic Reduction
Drizzle extra virgin olive oil on a plate. It should be a decent size, depending on how many people you’ll be serving for.
Pour balsamic reduction over the olive oil in a zig zag design.
It’s best to serve this bread appetizer with focaccia bread, but any fresh bread will work well.
Pesto Sundried Tomato Baked Brie
Baked brie is a classic appetizer your guests will love!
Add more flavor to it by covering the brie in fresh pesto and sundried tomatoes.
Bake it in the oven until the cheese has completely melted through.
Serve with fresh bread for dipping.
Raw Apple and Prosciutto
Raw apple and prosciutto appetizer is made by putting a bit of fig jam onto each of the bread slices.
Next, a basil leaf in placed on top of the fig jam.
Thinly sliced apples are layered on top of the basil.
Prosciutto is folded on top of the apple slices. To garnish the bread appetizer, top with a bit of balsamic reduction.
Roasted Cherry Tomato Bruschetta
Roast cherry tomatoes in a bit of olive oil in the oven for 20 minutes.
Remove them from the oven and mix with fresh basil leaves. Toast the bread slices for 2 minutes.
Rub the toasted bread slices with a half cut garlic to put a hint on garlic on the toasted bread. Top the bread with the roasted tomatoes and basil.
Grate fresh parmesan cheese for the top of the bruschetta and serve.
Cheese Ball
Make your own easy cheese ball with cream cheese for a delicious savory appetizer.
The cheese ball is made by simply using a hand mixer to whip the cream cheese until light and fluffy.
Add a couple of herbs, spices and cheddar cheese to create the base of the cheese ball.
The next part is very messy!!
Shape the cream cheese into a ball shape, and roll into a plate of chopped up walnuts.
Chill for half an hour to make it firm up again.
Serve your cheese ball by slicing off a bit of it and put it onto a piece of bread to enjoy!
Spinach Dip
Spinach dip is a hot, creamy dip you can serve with fresh pieces of bread.
Spinach dip is made by combing cooked spinach, cream cheese, minced garlic, salt and pepper, parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese together.
The cheese mixture is placed into a heat proof bowl, and topped with more mozzarella cheese, so it’s extra cheesy!!
Spinach dip is baked in the oven, and served hot right out of the oven with fresh pieces of bread for dipping.
Fresh Pesto Bruschetta
Make a fresh batch of pesto, the flavor is much more powerful and fragrant than store bought.
Dice a tomato with a little bit of onion. Mix the pesto together with the tomatoes and onions.
Spoon the tomato pesto mixture on top of fresh pieces of bread and grate parmesan cheese on top.
Toast for a couple of minutes for the cheese to warm up.
